We Answered:

No you don't. as long as you meet the conditions of the uni to which you have placed a firm offer you do not need to give the insurance uni any results. Once you meet the requirements you should be given an unconditional offer (if you do not have so already)

If you are in any doubt contact the uni where you have placed a firm acceptance and they will be able to tell you more.

The insurance companies will try to get away with paying as little as possible, certainly not what the car was originally bought for. The most your brother will get back is the current market value of the car i.e. taking depreciation into consideration. Whatever the first offer is (if it is a write off) from the insurers, don't accept it!
The only way to get back the full price for a car after being written off, is by taking out additional GAP Insurance, which pays the difference between what the insurance pays, and what you originally bought the car for.

Bravo... You are correct on every count. Like you I have been fed up with all our liberties taken away, in fact we have got to the point that before you open your mouth you have to think of what you are going to say, otherwise you get jumped on.We are not free any more as we have not got the freedom of doing anything that we would like and always have done in the past, as we are racists.That word really gets to me and cannot stand it.People have come to our Country , and instead of them obeying our Laws we have to revert to their way of living., and obey what they want. I had to work fifty nine years to get my Pension, but people come in here, bring their elderly folk and they get Pensions straight away.There is something not quite right about all of this.

Tell the insurance company NOW, they might help you, I run 2x cars & whichever I use it`s insured, as my company says I can only drive one at a time, the other is covered for fire & theft while not in use.
If insurance wont help you, you will get done, amazed they never took car off you there & then
