Why doesn't WWE just join Heat and ECW together give 'em thier own Tag Champs and make it a 2 hour show?

We Answered:

1) Heat was a compliment show to RAW (as Velocity was to SmackDown)

2) Velocity actually is the predecessor to ECW. Velocity was revamped, renamed, etc to become the new ECW, which explains why ECW & SmackDown are on the same taping schedule.

3) Heat was recently cancelled (& wasn't on television for a while before that)

4) The plan is, by August, that ECW will move its tapings to Monday's before RAW.

Anime Questionnaire!?

We Answered:

I'm gonna humor you cause I'm bored too.

#1. When you read/watch an anime or manga by a particular author or company, do you feel obligated to read whatever else that author/company produces?
I'm not really when it comes to companies, but a definitely am with authors. I know what you mean about buying a manga just cause it has that little "from the creator of" sticker. I mean, I own everything Yuu Watase has ever written even though I think everything after Ayashi no Ceres was mediocre at best. I can't help it though, and usually authors I'm familiar with don't let me down.

#2. Plan on watching anything this season? Thoughts on any series you have watched?
I honestly no longer keep up with what's new in American and Japan. I should get a new subscription to an anime magazine so I'll be able to keep up. I do plan on watching anime, but frequently it's series that have been around for a while and I just haven't gotten around to seeing yet. Right now I have Le Chevalier d'Eon downloaded onto my computer and I plan to watch it right after I get around to watching the first season of Tsubasa Chronicles that a friend demanded I borrow.

#3. Adult Swim has recently made an announcement that they've accquired three new anime licenses and they plan to broadcast them on their network. What do you think they are, why, and how well do you think they'll do?
Honestly, I have no idea what's new in Japan right now aside from InuYasha: The Final Act, since Rumiko Takahashi happens to be one of the mangaka I slave to. I'll be impressed if they get it on air in America that fast after it's release in Japan, but then again I know Viz is really kicking up their efforts to release things in the states as soon as possible after their Japanese debut. I think InuYasha will do well, since as you said the former 7 seasons did very well on Adult Swim.

I'm skipping #4 cause I have no idea.

#5. Take your favorite anime/manga character and make the president for a day. What would be the first policy they enacted?
God, there are so many. I can't choose just one, so it wouldn't be a president, it would be an entire parliament of conflicting characters! xD They're all headstrong guys, so they'd be trying to nuke foreign countries and going at each other's throats the entire time.

#6. What manga do you wish someone would make an anime of?
Well, one anime I can't wait to see is Kyoukai no Rinne. I know there will definitely be one before too long, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

#7. Last question, I promise. What do you deem the most surprising anime/manga moment?
The first thing that comes to mind for me is when I was reading Fushigi Yugi several years ago. I was new to manga, and not used to the cross-dressing phenomenon. So when volume 3 comes around and it reveals that Noriko is actually a man... I was basically like "Wtf? O.o" Haha, of course now it's nothing new to find out a character isn't the gender you always assumed they were, but at the time it was a real surprise.

Aaaaaaand........ I have no clue who that kid is. Best wishes! =)

Your best bet is to get financing from your bank and buy from a private party. Even if your bank didn't give you a better rate than a dealership did, the purchase price of the car will be less which means you'll be financing less. That means less interest paid over the life of the loan so that in the end, the total purchase price will be less. As for auctions, I would probably stay away from them if I were you. Auctions are typically dealer trade-ins that the dealers didn't want to put on their used-car lot for one reason or another. They might be just fine or might not be, but you won't be able to take an auction vehicle to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection like you could a private party or dealer vehicle. However, you might get a good education by going to an auction and just observing how it works if you're still interested.

You said "20% of the $6000 would go to my down payment and the rest..." to the other charges? I think you mean that you're putting down 20% of the car's purchase price, not 20% of your $6000. To get the best interest rate on financing, put at least 20% down of the price you settle on. Since the cars you're looking at will be around $8000-$12000, that means you want to put down $1200-$2400. But honestly, do yourself a favor and make your down payment as large as you can afford, after accounting for insurance, tags, etc. The more you put down, the less you have to finance which means the less interest you'll pay on the loan.

BTW, run your own loan numbers. Find a car payment calculator online and play with loan term (24 months, 36 months, etc), interest rate, payments, etc. A dealer will probably try the ol' "If I can get your payment down to $ XXX, would you like that?" routine. They lower the payment by lengthening the loan time. Don't accept any term longer than 36 months, especially on a used car! The monthly payment is lower, but the added time on the loan will make the total interest even higher, making the car even more expensive (and the dealer gets to pocket the difference!).

Discuss It!
