Title Insurance In Texas

Terry Said:

help ASAP texas title and registation questions...?

We Answered:

YOU GOTTA BE REAL CAREFUL STATING A LESSER PRICE THAN YOU PAID . THE STATE CAN NAIL YOU FOR THAT BECAUSE YOU ARE SWEARING TO THE PRICE YOU PAID WHEN YOU SIGN THE PAPERS.

Need to sell car but problem with Title?

We Answered:

You have the signed over title and plan to scrap it... You don't have to re title it to scrap it.

Call the wrecker service and have it scrapped. You'll get essentially $0 if they haul it away.

If you take it to the scrap dealer... they'll pay by the pound. in 1999 a Subaru station wagon was worth $60 in scrap. (I know because I had one scrapped then)

TX Sheriff's Deed: Title Insurance?

We Answered:

The reason that these properties do not qualify for title insurance is because of the tax liens. Once the tax liens are resolved the properties are then qualified to have title insurance. A sheriffs deed is a true deed. When you resell the property it is up to the buyer to determine the type of deed he/she wants, in fact you can have the deed rewritten into a "regular deed" after you have purchased the property, before you resell it.
