Jon Said:

what do you think of my life plan?

We Answered:

It sounds like you are leading an amazing life. Congratulations. Assuming that this is all true, my opinion is that your plan could work, but it could be better. If you start off big, you will only tend to get bigger and the money will disappear. Here are my suggestions:

Hire an attorney and an accountant to advise you on protecting your investments and minimizing your tax burden. Preservation of wealth should be a new goal, and can be a full time job.

Realize that you are likely to a very different person in 10 years than you are now. I would focus on life experiences and figuring out what you want out of life. There is a lot of life left to live.

Live modestly and below your means whenever possible. Most millionaires in the U.S. purchased their homes for around $500,000, according to The Millionaire Mind. If you live in a more upper middle-class lifestyle, you will not have pressures to spend more of your money. You will also be able to live for decades without income in this type of lifestyle, which means guaranteed peace of mind and freedom to do what you want.

Also, you should stop using credit altogether.

This is just my opinion. Good luck.

You need to get on the Internet and check out the Worker's Comp laws in your State, or in the State where you worked. And I'm sure there are multiple lawyers listed in your area specializing in workers comp cases that will answer your questions, alot of whom will do 1/2 hour free type sessions to determine if you have a case or not.
