If you can prove you have been making payments then you could sue her but as long as there is an outstanding loan and she co-signed it she has every right to hold the title particularly if it's in her name and not his. Afterall her credit is on the line if you default on the $6000. Once it's paid off if she still refuses to give up the title then you can go to court and sue her (only a good idea if you want to be enemies for the rest of your life.)

Maps, so you know where to go if you need directions and what not.

Passports you can use for photo ID to prove who you are, and also for international travel.

Insurance Papers incase you have any home or car damage you can use the cards/contact the company to help/cover the damage.
