Career / Job Title for my Resume ?

We Answered:

Your job title should reflect the truth of your job duties and reflect the title used in the job you are applying for.

I would call you a Medical Billing Researcher, but that wouldn't help you get many jobs as most people wouldn't know what it means.

New career with a Bachelor of Arts degree?

We Answered:

The past is often the mother of the future and it sounds like you've already done some introspection by realizing what you're really good at. If you're like most of us, we also want to be successful in what ever it is that we ultimately end up doing. Studies show that people do better in life doing what they are good at. There are several reasons for this, but the biggest one is that if we enjoy doing something, then the success follows. Work is no longer work and we look forward to generating success by being more creative and being happier at the same time.

Since your good at and have the sheep skin for computer technology including website development, I'd suggest that you start there. Take your interests such as animals and children and go to businesses that specialize in those areas and build a website for them OR one of your own. You need not quit your current job until your other job takes off financially for you. Of course you could always quit your current job and go cold turkey into it, but another important part of being successful is test market, test market, test market your ideas and strategies BEFORE getting your feet too wet trying to cross too deep of a fast moving business river .

Good luck in your quest.

I want to build a career as an insurance underwriter, where do i start?

We Answered:

My ex husband is an underwriter.Sorry i can't ask him what his exact qualifications he has as i don't want to talk to him.
However, i do know he doesn't have a degree,he only had a couple of O ' Levels when he started out.
He started out 18 years ago practically as the tea boy at Royal & Sun Alliance. He's now senior management,he's done a lot of training courses with them ( He now works for AXA),and has studied for more qualifications throughout his career.

career in title insurance?

We Answered:

Good site to look at is http://www.alta.org/. This is the website for American Land Title Association. I know Pennsylvania has a similar site, but I don't know if every state does..
I also know someone who works with me that just got their real estate license... I would suggest you do the title first and then the realtor thing b/c apparently they confuse things a bit, from what I've heard...
Good Luck. Let me know if you have any other questions...
