My policy is really funny. It will pay out $15K if I die, but will pay out $5K for each amputated limb or eye. I've told my next-of-kin that if I keel over dead, they should immediately saw off all my limbs and poke out my eyes -- $30K, or twice what they'd get if they just left the poor corpse intact.

We normally call them "paramed". Sometimes we call them "nurse" or just "medical examiner".

If you search for paramed companies, you should find lots of them. Apps, Exam One, EMSI, and Portamedic are some of the biggest ones. They want you to be a nurse, preferably an RN with plenty phlebotomy experience and people skills.

The title company is kind of like a middle man protecting buyer and the seller. They find out if any taxes are owed on the property and do research to see who the land belongs to.

An escrow is an account that the banks sets up for you and when you pay your morgage some of the money you pay goes to that escrow account and when property taxes are due and insurance is due the bank pays them for you.
