yes, unless the strata company has organised insurance for all buildings in the lot and the insurance bill gets paid through your strata fees.

if possible, it's best to insure all strata buildings as one lot (if everyone agrees) as it's usually cheaper, and otherwise this can lead to all sorts of problems in the event of a claim involving more than one building on the lot.
