Ivan Said:

Does Florida Law require a title company to close escrow or a real estate lawyer??

We Answered:

In Florida it can be a title company or even a paralegal, it does not have to be an attorney

Danny Said:

In Florida, do you need the title to sell your car to a used car company?

We Answered:

I don't know about florida, but in WA state we can hook into the WA state DMV online and at least print out proof of ownership. And to actually sell the vehicle, a legal "release of interest" must be notorized. I'm sure any used care dealership could do all this with you, but of course your going to take a loss on the sell that way. Private party is the best way to sell. In anycase, call the DMV first, make sure your doing everything ligit with florida state. If you don't get the title out of your name you can be screwed big time.

Kurt Said:

What is needed to open a Title company in south florida?

We Answered:

Check with the Bureau of Licenseing that issued you your Broker license and see. If you've never worked in the industry before, I'd suggest working with a bigger outfit first and learning the ropes.
