What's needed to title and register my car in Delaware?

We Answered:

http://www.dmv.de.gov/forms/veh_serv_for… will give you what you need to know. You were supposed to do all this in the first 60 days, but if they don't ask...

And yes, you'll need an inspection and insurance that covers you in state, but it's all outlined on the web page.

What happens if you finally go to register your car in a state you moved to over a year ago?

We Answered:

Look up the consequences on the DE DMV website.

What you did was extremely foolish. Any insurance you thought you had during this time is in all likely hood worthless and wouldn't have paid in the case of a claim

Kathleen Said:

Can I get car insurance without a valid driver's license in the state of Delaware?

We Answered:

You can get the car registered and titled in your name, and you can get an insurance policy issued. What you would need to do is name someone who has a valid license as the driver of the vehicle and have them listed on the insurance. After the Child support error is corrected, you can drop them as the driver and list yourself on the same policy.

He is trying to be slick, you just have to be a bit more slick.
