1. Get a lawyer. If the house is in your name only, you will probably get to live there. you may have to get her about half of it.

2. You can get the banking records from her. The court will ask about that when it's time to divide the assets.

If she did commit adultery, then she may forfeit any alimony payments that you could have had to pay.
Get your lawyer to look into her having to pay spousal support, if she is 57 then she is still able to work. And ask the court to have her pay for your attorney. If you can show that you don't have anyway to pay for the divorce, he may grant that to you.

Are you certain he cannot get a reverse mortgage? You would only need about 50% equity at 89 yrs old.

Other than that, I would speak to an elder law attorney to qualify him for Medicaid and assisted living.
