Against my better judgement, I'm going to respond to this one. Is your father mentally unable to handle his day to day business? Does he need you or other family to help him make decisions on a daily basis? You would probably want to contact the proper authorities regarding elder abuse and they would take it from there, but at the same time, if you have no information on this so called "friend" there is no way to drag her into court let alone for them to be caught. You need to obtain the most information as possible and dig up what you can on the "friend". I would then contact the authorities and tell them about suspected elder abuse. Leave out all that inheritance talk because they could care less if you stood to inherit something, they simply prevent and prosecute those committing elder abuse.

It is wrong for the police and what i presume was a duty solicitor to inform you that because it can´t be seen on the CCTV i.e him first assaulting you you cannot plead self defence, you need to stand your ground and get a decent solicitor to defend you not one who wants a quick earner by you pleading guilty. The CCTV will be used as part of the evidence and viewed in court outside of that its all going to be about your testimony versus his it will then be up to the magistrate or jury to determine who is to be believed, if all you say is the truth then you have to believe in that and fight your corner, or are you just going to roll over after all you say you have worked for? In my eyes you are not a criminal just another person who has had to defend himself and end up with the raw end of the deal. I wish you luck and a successful outcome.

The reverse mortgage HAS to be repaid or the bank owns the house. Your choice.

You do not have the choice of getting the house into your name until the bank, and in fact all of her other debts, have been paid off.

You will not do this monthly, it has to be taken care of right away.

But first fire that lawyer, they are scamming you.
