I shouldn't imagine you are entitled to know unless there is a specific reason that it affects you in some way. Maybe if there was a court case and this is relevant to you you could get a court order to disclose a document showing whether or not you are.

After you collect the lead information, send out a mailer to see who's interested, THEN contact ppl that respond. By this time, you've already gotten only those that are interested.

Its a gamble like any other form of insurance. May never need it and waste all that money, but will come in very handy if you did need it. Bit like contents insurance - money down the drain if you never claim, but what if someone steals everything?

You are bascially insuring your mortgage in case you are too ill to work or get laid of etc - all depends on whether you think it is worth the risk. There is no right answer - some will, some won't.
