Congress and the Senate have no choice now but to pass this bill. Sad to say with all the kick backs they cannot afford not to. Yes we are going to suffer but who is to blame? Well Government is for sure but also we have to take our share of the blame for not insisting on term limits for congress and the senate. Power corrupts, that is a huge part of the problem. These goons up in Washington have long forgotten about the job they were sent there to do. They are wheeling and dealing with our money to fund their own personal agendas.

There is no smoking gun. It was a piece but people are looking for a single keystone and there really isn't one...

You also fail to mention that Economist and former Sen. Phil Gramm - John McCain's Economic Advisor - tacked this onto other legislation before anyone had a chance to read it before a Christmas break.

If you believe this is the cause it'd be nice for you to include him since he wrote it.

If you are in the UK, the liability on the finance agreement would have died with your husband. You should therefore notify the finance company of his death and ask them when they are coming to collect the car.
