What's a newspaper editor's salary in Florida?

We Answered:

No one can give you a detailed response because her salary negotiations will be between her and her potential employer. $30,000 per year as a single income in Miami isn't anywhere near middle-to-upper-middle-class lifestyle. Sorry, but it's not even close. 20 percent of the nation's households make between $34,000 and $51,000, only 15 percent of Miami's households are in that income bracket. Miami-Dade County's median household income is $35,966, far below the national median income of $41,994. The city of Miami's median household income is even lower at $23,483. Go to this website and enter the city you currently live (or the closest city to you on this list) in the first box and then enter Miami in the second box and it will give you a good idea. http://swz.salary.com/costoflivingwizard…

Will you help me please?

We Answered:

Dude I can't help you financially but I can give some advice.I am sorry to hear about your situation but you need to start living for yourself and what I mean is;You have to work two jobs.Go to Wal-mart part time then find a full time job.I myself filled bankruptcy years ago and put myself back in dept with a car.Bad mistake;I should have got a hoopty instead.Give the car back then buy a car for 2 to six hundred and **** the looks dude.Family first but you also have to be a man and take care of yourself also. That is kinda hard to do with your family illness.Pray and start going to church and talk to god.The bank wants the money and still might repo the car and keep your money.find another car first then turn the car in to them.Be prepared for them to try to stick it to you with the remaining balance of the loan.Send what you can to prevent that from happening.Bail yourself out homie.Good Luck And God Bless.

My husband and I are fighting about how to pay bills. Am I being unfair?

We Answered:

He made a promise. And it's a promise he can easily keep. How you two arrange your finances is your business. But I personally believe that within the bounds of marriage everything should be combined and bills should be paid from the joint account.

Money is the number one reason couples fight, and one of the top reasons couples divorce. It's right up there with raising a disabled child (which I know first hand is a huge strain).

You two can't seem to work this out on your own. No matter what anyone says here he will disagree. I would seek marital counseling if I were in your situation. Counseling doesn't mean your relationship is bad or has failed. It just means you two need to meet with a neutral party and maybe learn some skills as to how to relate to one another.

Good Luck.

Hey, Honey. If he refuses to go to counseling you two are not going to make it anyway probably. Tell him he is going or you are filing for divorce. If he really values his money so much he will go. Divorce will cost him far more than paying the tax bill or a therapist.

EDIT-
I'm sorry this is getting long. But I want to share with you my story. I have been engaged for 5 years. When my fiance and I first moved in together we both had good jobs. Within a year I lost my job, right after we took on a mortgage. Prior to losing my job he payed the mortgage, escrow, his truck payment, and personal bills. I paid all of the house bills, grocery, clothing, and most entertainment expenses. I have worked here and there since losing my job. And make next to nothing. My fiance picked up the slack and has never tried to guilt me. He even is pulling more extra weight so I can attend college. This is what a relationship should be. You deserve to know that no matter what happens, your husband will break your fall. This is how I know I want to and should marry this man. Ask yourself, if he acts like this now, what would he do if you lost your job. It can happen to anyone, unfortunately.

USC essay feedback PLEASE!?

We Answered:

I'm confused about what kind of feedback you'd like. What is this essay for?

You'll get in, I believe, if this is a college essay, and mostly likely without changing this essay at all. Just talk more about a particular major you are passionate about--no one wants a jack of all trades.

However, it might be helpful to include a few more obvious mentions of a particular affinity for some higher calling--perhaps a medical, science, or law degree or a master's in education, who knows. You always entice them by ensuring that you are passionate about your work life and academic pursuits specifically--be they art, science, or medicine. This not only guarantees you'll focus on college as well as your personal life; it assures your desired college that you WILL graduate from their university and that you DO want to go there passionately for a good old fashioned selfish reason.

Your prose and diction are wonderful.

Hope it's a success :D If you don't decide you want to go to USC, remember that there are many other programs so make sure you make a copy of your essay so you can send it elsewhere if you change your mind :D
