Mortgage Broker Insurance

Ben Said:

i had a survey done on the house i wish to purchase mortgage broker said everything went fine,,, but today?

We Answered:

I think the problem is you imagine you are dealing with an intelligent, professional person. No, you're dealing with someone who wants to sell you a mortgage, and neither knows nor cares about the state of the house you're buying.

Please don't worry too much about this, sounds as if the surveyor is being conscientious, and simply checking that the vendor has done the work she promised. This is in your interest, so it's good he's doing it.

You could ask the mortgage broker what s/he was talking about, but don't expect a sensible answer. Good Luck, it will probably all work out fine (usually does)

Gary Said:

Do Mortgage Brokers provide homeowners insurance as well?

We Answered:

homeinsurance.awardspace.us - try this one. Got my home insurance from them. As I know they provide such a service.

Seth Said:

how long can mortgage broker hold your appraisal report?

We Answered:

I would contact NAR (National Association of Realtors http://www.realtor.org/) and your state board of realtors, they should either be able to answer your question or point you to someone who can.

Don Said:

mortgage broker's application fraud?

We Answered:

I guess so. There is a reason that you have to sign forms. They may talk to you as if they are on your side so that you will incriminate the broker and they will perhaps talk to him as if they are on his side so he can incriminate you.

In the end they are wanting to get their money back from whoever they can.

Gabriel Said:

Why do mortgage brokers, realtors, and lawyers insurance companies?

We Answered:

Because every moment they keep that money in the bank, they are making money off of it.

I would call them immediately or have your lawyer deal with it.
