You are a little ignorant aren't you - i have a few friends who have ILR status and guess what they work and pay their own rent and council tax so get your facts straight before you go making these unpleasant and generalised statements.

I feel sorry for immigrants who are here working hard and paying their taxes because it doesn't matter what they do they are judged from this same narrow-minded perspective.

Asylum seekers and people with ILR status are two very different types of immigrants - don't put them in the same pot.

I am actually a little disgusted as some of these immigrants with ILR status are married to British citizens and they have children together - what gives you the right to make all these remarks against them - they have every right to be here as you do if they are working hard and paying their way.

No, there is not. You can buy life or disability insurance, but you will not find "job loss" insurance.

That may be something you can purchase from your mortgage company. It's not insurance but many mortgage companies offer some type of program.

This is not the type of thing that would be covered by a homeowners policy and there is no such coverage offered by any commercial home owners carrier. Homeowners insurance pays for things that are accidental in nature (a fire, hurricane, tree falling on the house). Homeowners does not pay for maintenance items or paying your mortgage.
