Pa Mortgage Lenders

Perry Said:

I have a mortgage originators license in Maryland, but am looking to also work for a broker in Pennsylvania?

We Answered:

I work for a broker in PA and we had a guy come up from MD to work for us. However, the company I work for has a PA license and he operated under the company license. Call around in PA and see what you can find. There are plenty of Brokers up here. Alot to choose from.

Does anyone know of any loan sharks in PA?

We Answered:

Try prosper.com. It may help you. Or try auto title loan place if you own a car outright.

Too late to use mortgage contingency ?? PA state?

We Answered:

Wow, I'd hate to be the agent representing the sellers. Our opinions: Tell your lender the story and watch what happens. Don't ask the lender to do anything but tell them to act in their best interest.
Did you get a seller's property condition disclosure prior to the inspection? Was the inspector provided with such a disclosure?
In any event you really do need to do some detailed research on what can and can not be done not just according to the feds but according to your state laws. Here are some links to get you started:
LAWS: http://www.libraries.psu.edu/socialscien…
State’s Laws passed in 2004: http://www.legis.state.pa.us/WU01/LI/LI/…
State bar Association: http://www.pabar.org/
You should go to our educational research page and research what the feds and other government agencies say about all that.

What is a Mortgage commitment letter?

We Answered:

The loan commitment letter is from the lender stating that they have approved your loan for the amount of money needed to close the deal. If repairs are an issue, the price of renegotiating means the sales price may be reduced, however, if you then are accepting in the nonrepaired state, then you'll need funds to cover the repair.
