Were you disapproved for lack of items needed to complete a mortgage loan application. It is illegal for a bank or other public institution to be bias against anyone because of race, age or other RESPA related bias laws.

You should contact a local mortgage broker who will take a mortgage loan application from you to refinance your property. There are things he/she will need such as proof of income, a credit report with credit scores. You would be able to find a local mortgage in your telephone book or you might google mortgage broker/banker followed by the city and state in which you reside.

Once this information has been accumulated the mortgage banker/broker will submit your application to an underwriter for approval.

This approval might require additional information from you. Once supplied your mortgage loan will close according to the local and federal laws.
