I have watched her on some of the political talk shows like CNN.

She is, as you would expect, intelligent and bright, but I didn't find her particularly illuminating. Her topic on the selection of a vice presidential nominee does not reflect anything new.

In this age of 24 hour cable television and the Internet, one would have imagined a new take on the process - she did not offer one.

Sorry, as I can see that you especially enjoyed reading her article.

There are many lenders who will lend on "non-warrantable" condos (less than 50% owner occupied) at market rates. They will simply hold on to those loans (shelf) until the 50% has been reached and then sell them.

Scores of Regional Banks who lend their own money and retain their loans.

One thing (and really the only thing) that I like about the Communist Chinese is that, while the government is corrupt through and through and to get anything done you have to bribe officials, every few years they will clean house. Then you hear about some of the more egregious bribe-takers. And they don't go to jail -- they are SHOT.

Just proves the point that even a broken clock is right twice a day :)
