Like the other answer says, speak to an independent mortgage adviser - not one who is only selling his own company's products. If you can get a better deal then that's great. If you can't, then you've lost nothing.

Money supermarket has it's place on the Internet. It helped me to get cheaper car insurance two years in a row and gave me the best deal for child trust found. It is a great research tool but I would never buy anything directly through them.
