You know what is amazing to me........how many families who have no health insurance have Wii's for their kids, drive new cars as opposed to older ones which also results in higher insurance premiums, have satellite TV, cell phones, manicures and pedicures, nice furniture, drink, smoke, take vacations, etc......then they cry when they have no insurance. Crazy.

I know not all people are like that but many are. $5000.00 is more than enough to pay for a great insurance policy.

Yes, it should be covered. Which coverage? Well, typically flying objects would be comprehensive, stuff you run over would be collision. So I'd expect the comp deductible to apply, and no surcharge as it's not really an accident. Don't let them call it collision, as they'll be able to surcharge you then.

You don't get free insurance just because you get sick. You will have to keep paying for it. Just like, when you get sick, you don't start getting free food. You have to keep paying for it.

There is insurance to pay you money, to help pay your bills, if you get very sick. It's called "short term disability" coverage. If you don't buy it, you don't get it.

Both plans are severely flawed but McCain's is worse. If only america could have universal health coverage. Is it not embarrassing having worse health standards than Cuba?

It might if you have collision coverage. Otherwise you are pretty much out of luck.

What you can you is snoop around the parking lot and see if you can find another car with some of your paint on it. measure the distance from the ground to your scrape and check for any cars with what looks like a scrape on some projecting part at the same height above ground level.

If you find such a vehicle, call the police and file a complaint for the other party leaving the scene of an accident or hit and run.
