For the past eight years America has been seeking help from our government to fix the out- of-control health care system in America. However, our government has backed away from the challenge of taking on the medical and pharmaceutical giants. Now, under a new president, significant steps are being taken to ensure all Americans have adequate medical insurance and care. Although there remains much to be done the success of the Senate Finance Committee is a strong step in getting the reform America needs. Interesting how now that headway is being made the Republicans are now saying they too believe we need to fix the problem but they do more to set up road blocks than help work out the problems.
