Premium Finance Insurance

Audrey Said:

Did the Democrats just get stabbed in the back by the health insurance companies?

We Answered:

It is all BS!
They lied-- again.
I once worked for Oxford Health Plans (now United Heathcare). When we went through a tough financial period they cut out Friday bagels for the employees while the President and CEO, Dr. Norman Payson received 11.5 million dollars per year. Maybe Dr Norm could have made due with just a mere 11 million per year and we could have kept a small perk that everyone loved.

The for profit Health Insurance industry is pure evil.

Universal care-- with a public option is the way to go. It is working in Massachusetts.

Who pays the employee med. insurance premium when 1 cant work for a month?

We Answered:

If your husband currently pays for his health insurance through his company he is still liable for payment of the premium while he is working or not working.

Rachel Said:

Life insurance settlements (polices for sale) - What group(s) will finance the premiums?

We Answered:

When someone buys a policy as a viatical they assume responsibility for paying the premium on the policy, as it's in their interest to do so.

Frances Said:

How can this be rephrased?

We Answered:

"Help is provided financially for 12 months of installments when participating in Insurance Premium Finance. What is more, the payments connected with this are tax deductible."

Peggy Said:

If I want to sell small items valued at 100 dollars or less, would insurance companies pay me if the loans go?

We Answered:

What loans? Is your business selling, or financing?

And likely, for very small amounts, assuming you're not "prequalifying" the people borrowing money off of you, no, they won't insure this. They can't get enough premium to make a profit at it.

If someone can't afford to buy something for $100, they SURE as heck aren't going to pay the loan off.

Jerry Said:

do i owe the insurance company money?

We Answered:

When you let your policy cancel by not paying the bill, depending on what state you are in, you incur cancellation fees, and short rate penatlies.

It's very likely that you still owe them money. Just stopping paying the bill, is NOT the proper way to cancel your coverage, and can end up costing you extra money.
