if you want to make health insurance affordable all you have to do is open it up to where you can get health insurance from any state...I only 300 a month for a family of 4 in Texas but I have heard of people paying much more than that in other states...it would be easy to get health insurance to 250 a family like the New plan just by doing this and we could also keep the Government out of it...
If you get health insurance from work there is no such thing as pre-existing conditions and more and more insurance companies are now accepting people with pre-existing conditions.
Another way to get the cost of medical care down is by letting us by our prescriptions from Different countries over the internent...Perscriptions are much cheaper in Mexico now if you live close to the boarder you can by your meds from mexico as long as you have a Perscription..but we all do not live that close

I think the average American is now so used to abuse (19 of the last 28 years), they just don't think about things anymore, assuming we ever did.

I feel that we are not used to mistrusting our own government and are poorly prepared to watch them.

I will give the Bush "administration" credit for their policy of constant mis-direction with the war and terrorists and the like.

I really don't know if we still deserve the freedoms we were born with. This is a shame because so many of our fellows made the ultimate sacrifice for those freedoms only to have them squandered by flea-bag Republicans.

We allowed it to happen on our watch and will be paying for many years.

If they do manage to cram some more Frankensteinien pork-laden legislation through, it will be yet another Un-Constitutional straw on the proverbial camel's back. Eventually "We the People" will not be able to support the burden of the bloated government and its tyrannical involvement in our lives.

ObamaCare has a tax on the old and the sick. Currently, medical expenses are deductible above a floor of 7.5% of adjusted gross income. With ObamaCare the floor goes up to 10%. That mostly affects older people on fixed incomes who have high medical expenses. And that's just one example that Comrade Obama's promise was always hot air.

I read your title question only. Your description was too long. I don't have time to read all that stuff.

An HMO is set up to use a network doctor. All insurance plans do that even in individual plans unless you have a PPO which means you can go out of network and pay more for your premiums. That is what is called managed care.

You can see any private doctor you want but must pay for the visit if it is not in the network.
