You should definitely do the driver school, I just went through this myself, (speeding) and usually if you go to driver school its a bit cheaper than your ticket. Also, if you do the traffic school the ticket will come off your record. If not then the DMV will notify your insurance carrier and your premium will raise at your next renewal. You should be getting a paper soon in the mail with either to pay the ticket price or the driver school.

Hello mate

It all depends on where you live, i live in Liverpool where car crime is high so makes it go up alot. Im 19 and pay 1300 on an astra fully comp, cars worth 7k.

As your car is only worth £400 there in no point in going fully comp, go third party or third party fire and theft as tpft is often cheaper for some reason. Make sure you put your parents on it and any older siblings, my sister makes it go down by £50 even though shes a year older than me. Reduce your miles to 2 or 3000 a year as they never check your mileage. Says it kept on the road as its cheaper than saying its kept in the garage again strange!

Either way coz of ya age your looking at at least a grand mate, even though its more than the car. Dont declare any mods. If your desparate then go as your mum as the main driver (she will have to ring and ringing is often better) and you might be looking at around £600.
