Absolutely it will be detrimental. Not only to Americans, but also to all the Canadians who come here for care they will not get in Canada. Canada also does not have the minorities killing themselves and others at the rate in US. This is one factor skewing the statistics. They also measure live births in a different way, including survival of premature babies.
Our government screwed up the community health care by backing HMO's, protection from lawsuits, denial and delayed treatment, retired people are legally worthless, etc. all a preview of coming G-care. They do not support more medical schools in the US, preferring to bring foreign trained doctors into the country to 'fill the gap'.
The government will not join with the people in their scheme. They will continue to provide the best private insurance care available to all the government workers as they now do.
G-care will provide an Orwellian system of 'monitoring' the citizens to an unheard of level.
The VA system has had electronic records for many years and their system is a joke.

The proposed health-care overhaul is unaffordable, socialistic and incomprehensible. The representatives have not even read the bill and further, refused to pass an amendment that would have required government employees (including the representatives) to be covered by the proposed health plan.

The representatives felt that the plan is good enough for you but chose to exclude themselves. Does that make you wonder???

Did you know that from the 1st january 2010 the insurance grouping changed from the previous groups based on 1-20 are now from group 1-50 so the average cars insurance has doubled plus 1 group slightly increasing the insurance.

A vauxhall corsa 1998 1.4 was insurance group 4 now insurance group 9 any car that is in the new groups below 10 should have had a slight decrease in premium.
