The price sounds about right (for full coverage) but if you really care, call some agents working for other insurance companies and ask for a few quotes. You might save a few bucks a month.

Youthful drivers start out with a factor added to their insurance premium. For 16 year old males, it is around 2.70? Which means that the regular premium for that vehicle is multiplied times 2.7 for the surcharged premium. This factor goes down each year until at age 25, it is eliminated. Females start out with a little lower factor, around 2.4? and goes down as they get older or get married? Again by age 25, if still single, it disappears.
Since the factor at age 24 was nominal, there wont be a huge decrease for turning age 25. maybe 5%.
The premium will of course increase if you replace an older car with a brand new car because the premium for the physical damage will increase with the value of the car.
