If it is social security disability, then you can file a claim against that. Each child could get a check of up to half of what she gets. SSI is for low income disabled that has paid little or nothing into social security. If I were you I would find out what she is drawing cause if it is ssdi then you can get some to help support the kids, but if it is ssi then I am afraid it would be hard to get anything unless the judge forces her to go back to work seeing she seems to quit to get out of paying support. Also you need to see what is out there for you to get by on till you find another job, there is no shame in applying for medicaid and food stamps till you get back on your feet, you have paid into it and then that would be one worry off your mind about how to feed your boys and medical care in case they get sick.
