Lawyers hate doctors. Hillary did a lot of damage when she tried to overhaul it. Because she pressured Hospitals to cut cost, Hospital caused Deaths increased. Obamas savings that would partly pay for his health care program doesn't make sense. There should not be any extra savings when we are so far in the whole. What I heard is that he plans to cut money from medicare to pay for His health care reform. That makes no sense. Government run medicine is a joke. Va and military Hospitals is having a string of scandals. Medicare isn't about treating the poor and eldely, but merely give the impression while handing over tax dollars to crappy doctors. The way it's set up, doctors make money , not by treating illnesses, but to see as many patients as possible. Doesn't matter if the patient is sick or dies. People don't realize why health care is expensive, and lawyers under stand it the least. They are more use to suing Doctors and our jealous that tehy are more respected. The reason why healthcare is more expensive, is that there are more equiptment involved now to provide better care. Also Hospitals are limited to outsourcing their work. Cost of goods are held down by outsourcing, so peoples pay has not kept up with inflation and the cheap price of consumer goods mask it. Hospitals on theotehr hand has to give raises to Americans, so it has kept up with inflation. SO when people look at their pay compared to the cost, they blame the hospitals rather than the government and corporation for their pay keeping with inflation.

As for how to pay for Obama's medical reform, Canada is so strapped for cash, that the government has place Slot machines everywhere. Because of the low pay for doctors due to socialize medicine, Canada can not encourage their citizens to study medicine. They have a great shortage of Doctors , especiall specialties.

Edit: People are greedy. The problem is that due to greed, the govenrment wants to supress the price of necessities so the public can by knick knacks. Part of our economic problem is due to this. Our economy is based on consumer goods rather than neccessities. The more our economy is based on unneccessary purchases the larger the fluctuation our economy would have.
