Average Insurance Premiums

Steve Said:

Is there an average cost for health insurance premiums in the US? I just want to know how much it costs?

We Answered:

It depends on age, where you live, and what coverage you get. It can be anywhere from under a $100 to over $500 a month. Many employers pay a portion of the cost but that only means that you are paid less.

How much is the average cost of premiums for E&O insurance for a CPA firm?

We Answered:

It doesn't matter how many PEOPLE work there, only how many CPAs work there.

Usually it can be added by endorsement, to your BOP policy - at about $500 per CPA. It's pretty cheap.

What is the average APR for Taxi Insurance?

We Answered:

The type of insurance doesnt really matter, this is an issue of premium financing. Most personal auto policies will offer payments, as will many commercial auto, direct-bill companies. You are talking about financing the premium through a third party, basically a loan from a bank for the amount you need for premium. This varies based on the amount financed, your payment/credit history, and the amount your agent is getting off the deal. You are signing a contract and they can give you whatever rate they want. My advice would be to call a few different agents in your area and/or your bank to see who will offer you the least expensive loan.

I agree that Taxi/Limo Insurance is expensive, but that makes sense simply due to the amount of time on the road. Sorry, thats just the way it is.
