Insurance options are third party, third party fire and theft or fully comprehensive.

Third Party insurance will cover the costs of any damage or injury you cause to anybody else. It will not cover the damage to your own scooter.

Third Party Fire and Theft also covers your scooter against accidental fire or theft.

Fully Comprehensive will cover the cost of any damaged that is caused to your scooter, even if it was your fault.

You probably won't be covered for you own vehicle and associated expenses, motorway cleanup and emergency services would be paid for by thehighways agency (if you're in the UK) but you'd have to pay torecover your car.

However each insurance policy is different, so you should really read through the policy wording booklet to see what exactly you are covered for
