They don't cover water damage unfortunately...i just had to pay 50 dollars myself b/c my phone was water damaged as well. They can tell by looking at the battery whether or not it was water damaged so you really can't lie to them...their insurance policy kinda sucks...

It covers you losing your phone, it gets stolen, somehow it gets damaged and its better than paying for a BRAND NEW phone that costs alot more than the insurance.

First, leave it off. Take it apart (aka battery out back off) and leave it to dry for a few days. Do not touch it until after then. If it is damaged you should be able to tell. Don't put it in the over, just leave it to air dry.

The owner of the dog is responsible. You might need to go to small claims court to collect but let your insurance know. I doubt their homeowners would since it wasn't on their property and wasn't an aggressive act like some insurance policies require. It would be like a livestock issue - the dog was not in control on a leash and therefore the owner is responsible.
