We Answered:

An Act of God doesn't mean you are not covered (wouldn't tornados and thunderstorms be Act's of God?). A friend of mine had some landslide damage occur due to locally heavy rain. His insurance did not cover it because it did not cover "land movement whether caused by man or by an Act of God". His agent mentioned it may be covered by flood insurance (which my friend doesn't have since he lives above the city).

If you don't know, call your agent.
