Collision covers your vehicle, as does comprehensive. property damage LIABILITY means, they will pay to someone else FOR you (so you don't have to pay )

Collision only covers the damage to YOUR car. Fire, theft, flood, hail, running into a deer, etc., is under comprehensive.
Your insurance bill is broken down each month into how much you pay for each stated coverage -- easy to deduce how much you will save.

Note: if you ever wanted to rent a car you will be forced to purchase the company's collision insurance on a per-day basis.

if you do not carry collision coverage you're probably out of luck. If you live in a state that provides Uninsured Motorist Property Damage then there is coverage. but if not no.

Talk to your agent first. If they can't help you, you can take him to civil court and sue for damages. More than likely, you will have to go this route. This can be done without an attorney. Be sure to include the rental car bill or any other "inconvenience" costs. Good luck.

I would first contact your state attorney generels office.He will advise you.You still have to inform your insurance company too,for the real owners insurance of the other vehicle,may cover yours,if he had full coverage.
