Third party is when someone sues you, if you hit them.

That visa coverage, covers the car your driving.

The third party coverage for the rental company, usually covers the rental company.

If you hit someone, and they sue you for damages, I think you stand screwed.

Talk to the agent that writes YOUR POLICY. Your auto policy, for your regular use auto. An "agency" doesn't cover anything.

Insurance companies either check your licence at the start of a policy but all check it idf there is a claim.

You are asked many questions about you and the licence when you take the policy out. If you fail to give accurate info or fail to tell them about changes to that info during the life of the policy it can allow them to make it invalid in the event of you or someone else claiming on it.

Speaking as someone who worked for Hertz, I'd say take their coverage. Most insurance companies will not cover you in other countries and do not rely on your credit card company. I've seen, personally, people get burned by that.

Depends on what caused it and if it was anything to do with the tuning or if it had a fault before hand. Re-mapping shouldn't cause any problems unless there was something wrong with the engine beforehand.
