It depends on your company I think. I do know for sure that State Farm will automatically cover any vehicle you purchase for the first 30 days. I use them and the only reason I know is because I just bought a truck and thats what my agent told me.

Providing your daughter is over 21 and has held a full UK/EEA/EU licence for a minimum of 12 months, this shouldn't be a problem.

She can purchase (or good old Mum can) insurance cover from between 1 to 28 days.

Most insurance companies will only cover an ultrasound if it is "medically necessary." So it sounds like you would have to cover the expenses for an ultrasound done for your own desire.

BTW, a previous answer mentions something about gap insurance. That's wrong. This has nothing to do with gap insurance.
