Philip Said:

What type of insurance will cover the remaining 30%?

We Answered:

Unless there is an HMO alternative offered by your wife's employer, you may not be able to insure the other 30% that is currently your responsibility. Even if you had coverage at work, plans rarely allow coordination of benefits to 100% as they once did.

Check whether your wife's company offers a healthcare spending account (also called a flexible spending account or FSA), since this will allow you to put aside money tax free to cover unreimbursed healthcare expenses, including medical, dental, and vision.

Stacy Said:

Will insurance cover some types of plastic surgery?

We Answered:

The only way insurance usually will pay for plastic surgery is if it is a health concern.
for ex: a broken nose that impairs breathing
other then that, if its just a scar you don't like, im sure they won't.

Dana Said:

What type of insurance will cover a newborn baby from a mother who is a single minor?

We Answered:

Medicaid. Go down to the FIA/ Dept of Human Services. You will have to fill out an application and bring proof of income. After you get approved you will also be covered up until 6 weeks after you give birth. Also after your child is born you will receive a letter in the mail notifying you that you must file for child support from your baby's father as he is now responsible for paying back your state for the birth of your baby.
Also, if you need additional help go down to your local WIC office. If you're elgible for WIC you will receive milk, cheese, cereal, peanut butter while you're pregnant and 6 weeks after you give birth. You're baby will receive formula, milk and cereal.
Good luck and Congratulations Mommy!
