Have a look at http://www.portwood.co.uk/travel-insuran…

Uniquely they ask you about pregnancy and can cover you up to 32 weeks.

The policy document can be found here: http://www.portwood.co.uk/travel-insuran…

Travel insurance when pregnant?

We Answered:

Yes, but you MUST make sure that you state you are pregnant on the insurance forms. Some companies want a doctors letter saying you are fit to fly...;

Janice Said:

Is there travel insurance for Europe (including France and Spain) that will cover us after 30 weeks pregnancy?

We Answered:

Try 'Atlas Insurance'. They cover for anything and you can extend how long you want the insurance to last.

Margaret Said:

Does anyone know travel travel insurance covering up to a nd including 32 weeks of pregnancy from Australia?

We Answered:

Honestly, you shouldn't be travelling that late in her pregnancy, especially to another country!

Wendy Said:

What does this mean in travel insurance description?

We Answered:

If you had an unforseen pregnancy complication - like toxemia, they'd pay, IF IF IF the high blood pressure wasn't pre-existing, which it probably was.

If the BABY comes early, the BABY flat out isn't covered. Only the TRAVELER is covered, and usually only for ACCIDENTS.

Travel insurance is NOTORIOUS for not paying for "health" issues. It's intended, for a broken ankle kinda thing. NOT for, oh, you had a heart attack because you're overweight and had high cholesterol.

Pregnancy insurance for tourist, no medicare or medicaid?

We Answered:

I think you should travel back to your country if at all possible and get her the best medical help if she needs. You may be able to get free treatments in US but its not going to be of utmost quality and free patients are usually not priorities, even at the county hospitals.
I am saying this coz my husband is a physician and works for county hospital.... its sucks to see how uninsured ppl can't get best possible treatments.... only thing they will do is to patch her up if something wrong happens,.... no real treatment. Best is to go back and get her treated in best possible manner or be just ready to pay out of pocket if u want good treatment for her in US.
Good luck
