You solicitor made an error and is liable for this.

You need to complain to the solicitor and the law society.

The solicitor will have liability insurance, but you sue him and the insurance pays your award.

The solicitor does not have to tell you who his carrier is, as it protects him not you, the law society protects you.

Liability insurance is ' long tail'... the carrier who insured him on the day of the error will pay his claim, even if it is discovered 100 years later.

1 You should have spoken to your agent for advice.

#2 You should not have opened a 2nd or 3rd claim.

#3 ALL insurance companies investigate theft claims. That is because their is so much fraud. What your insurance company is doing is very, very common. If you want to pursue this claim it is require that you cooperate and give them what they want.

You have the option to call your insurance company and close the claim if either you do not want to cooperate or do not want to go through the pain of going through all that stuff.

Now you have at least 2 claims in 5 years and that is not a good thing. My suggestion is to close that 2nd claim with the camera. Your insurance company could drop you for 2 claims, but since your with a good company they may not, but could.

My landlord also refused to help with the roach problem. I would contact your local health department. Landlords have laws they are suppose to follow. Roaches are a health hazard!!!

In the meantime, Go to Walmart and get a box of BORAX. Its in the bleach aisle, took me a minute to find it, but its there! Its around 6 bux for a huge box. Sprinkle this stuff EVERYWHERE. In the carpets especially. Roaches eat it and die.
Spray down everything with bleach nightly. Do dishes, etc.
Never step on roaches in case they are carrying eggsacks, you will just cause them to hatch. Spray live roaches with soapy water. It kills them instantly.

To debug your stuff before moving, place everything in a garage..or moving truck and set off a few bug bombs. Should kill the live ones. When you unpack, check everything carefully for the eggsacks. If you find any, vacuum them up and thoroughly clean the filters and canister with bleach.

You will never completely rid yourself of these nasties. But you can keep them to an acceptable level.

Your options are (1) to remain with your attorney after asking for an explanation of his strategy and timeline; (2) hire another attorney to take the case over from your current attorney; or (3) fire the attorney and drop the case altogether. Technically you have the option of representing yourself, but this is not an advisable or wise solution. So, yes a personal injury lawsuit can be dropped. Note, if you hired your attorney on a contingency basis, he may be able to collect some of the proceeds. Evaluate whether you have realistic expectations of how long things take to progress in the legal system. What you mentioned so far doesn't seem egregious and depositions are rescheduled very frequently (almost as often as they are scheduled). I think a converstation with your current attorney may help you to make this decision. You can tell him you are thinking about going to another attorney.

because here in the US , everyone (right or wrong) has the right to have their side heard and decided by a jury ; insurance hurry to take your money but find it hard to pay out even when it is underinsured or uninsured coverage that you paid for ; it is up to argument for pain and suffering and then they try to throw in some contributory negligence or some prior medical history and some time to wear you down to save a buck , meanwhile increase your premiums and give you 30 days to pay or cancel the policy .

The norm for homeowners policies is, the policy will cover a problem if it was damage that caused it. If the hole developed from "wear and tear" or just "age rust" then most likely, it will not be covered.
