I think no one should pay more than $15 for phone insurance and that's considering that you have a real expensive phone. i think it should cover everything from getting wet to cracked screen to being stolen ect.

Not to bright, the insurance covers the specific unit. When you call to report your problem you'll be asked for info thats inside the phone itself (You need to remove the battery to get that info) when you give the tech support your moms phone info and they receive (yes, you have to send the phone back) your phone, which codes don't match the ones on record your mom will be charged with insurance fraud.

Also if you tell them the phone was lost or stolen you'll need a police report, as the phone (your moms) still working and broadcasting its ID to the network the insurance fraud complicates more with filing a false police report. Trust me, they will send the hounds from the "legal dept" after your mom with no remorse.

Im not sure if CPW have changed their insurances but they used to have several different levels and only one of them covered worldwide!

no, i think what you mean is will they chase after you for payments if you lose your job, then yes they will.

There is no policy that i have ever heard of that takes job loss into account.
If you have uneployment cover (part of a house insurance) that could pay your mobile bill for you.

I'm not sure what your coverage wording intends but "Loss" in terms of insurance generally means financial loss which would include any kind of damage. Is there a "Definitions" section of your coverage contract? My cell phone company AT&T has paid insurance on a phone that I lost, and I told them I lost it....I left on the counter in the store and when I went back to get it, it wasn't there.
