Laura Said:

Does a lack of evidence ever deter you or make you question?

We Answered:

From my understanding, your question of the truth is a sign of your maturity. It is something special and many are awaking to this and refusing blind faith. In the Baha'i faith this is called the independent investigation of truth.

I'll leave two quotes from Abdu'l-Baha were he stresses the importance of investigation of truth.

The first is the independent investigation of truth; for blind imitation of the past will stunt the mind. But once every soul inquireth into truth, society will be freed from the darkness of continually repeating the past.

(Abdu'l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu'l-Baha, p. 248)

Reality or truth is one, yet there are many religious beliefs, denominations, creeds and differing opinions in the world today. Why should these differences exist? Because they do not investigate and examine the fundamental unity, which is one and unchangeable. If they seek reality itself, they will agree and be united;  63  for reality is indivisible and not multiple. It is evident, therefore, that there is nothing of greater importance to mankind than the investigation of truth.

(Abdu'l-Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 62)

Hope you will find the truth for yourself soon what ever it may be:)

I feel I'm Transgender, any ideas or help?

We Answered:

I think your first move is to find a therapist with experience in gender issues, and speak honestly to him or her about your feelings. If you don't know where to find one, you could search here;
http://www.drbecky.com/therapists.html

You might also want to research what's actually involved in being transsexual, and being treated for it. The most comprehensive resource for that is probably this one;
http://www.tsroadmap.com/

It is a long, difficult, expensive and painful process; but if you are transsexual, it's the 'only game in town'.

But one small thing; you WON'T lose your history. Many of us sometimes wish we could, but it's part of you, and part of what makes you who you are. It will always be with you.

Matthew Said:

Typical 14 year old problem; My best guy friend doesn't talk as much with me anymore...?

We Answered:

Ok...so you guys were sooooooo close. Almost to the point of relationship status. Actually you pretty much were at relationship status considering your age. You talked on the phone all the time shared your deepest secrets that sort of thing. Anyways long explanation short...You said he had a girlfriend right?

1) The girl he is currently with now is more than likely jealous of you and your friends relationship...so she most likely told him that she doesn't want him talking to you. And he doesn't talk to you because he doesn't want to lose her. He probably thinks you'll just be sitting there when he gets ready to talk to you. Don't make yourself seem desperate like you just can't wait to talk to him because that will fuel him and further assure him that you'll be waiting for him.

2) He could just want to explore the world of girls. He probably just wants to see what life is like without you by his side 24/7. Not that you were crowding him...maybe you were though. he is a male and a growing one at that. and you guys are in highschool....he's definately "testing the waters."

3) He probably does all that he once did with you, with his girlfirend, so he may not have time or the mind capacity for juggling two girls at once.

Just some cases I think could be it. Just remember if you didn't do anything wrong, it's not you...it's him. Don't waste your life worrying about him either. Go out and talk to other guys. Have fun.

Lucille Said:

Was Jesus' death *really* any kind of sacrifice compared with what some mortals go through?

We Answered:

Jesus is the example of the most extreme sacrifice. Never has a man been so innocent, and had such power, and sacrificed so much.

But God will finish off Satan, - there's just an outstanding question as to why He hasn't yet.

And Jesus re-captured the keys of death from Satan. Whether someone accepts that remains the issue. Rejecting the gift is signing your death sentence for eternity.

How can Sunday Church leaders use Galatians 4 as a premise to abolish the Ten Commandments?

We Answered:

The Law remains in the new covenant as written on our hearts, obeyed because we love Christ.

Sin is the transgression of the law.. if the law is abolished does that mean there is no more sin?

Church leaders who wish to abolish the Sabbath commandment are in actual fact going to be the least in the kingdom of God.

Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
