Insurance That Covers Orthodontics

Stephanie Said:

orthodontics insurance?

We Answered:

It would be dental insurance. Most policies have limited coverage and waiting periods for coverage-so look at what it will cost you in premiums versus benefits payable when you are considering.

It may work to your advantage to ask your doctor for a discounted cash rate instead.

I need an insurance that covers orthodontics ?

We Answered:

When my daughter was in college she decided she wanted to go ahead with braces. Most insurance companies don't touch you after 18 for ortho work. The plan that we had for our family didn't have an age limit so we were able to use it. It saved us about 56% off of our bill. We paid about $2000 and we were originally quoted $5000 without insurance.

Now she's out on her own and not living with us anymore so she needed to get her own plan. The one that she has now is just for herself and she gets dental, eye care, prescriptions and chiropractic coverage all together. She said she pays about $3.45 a week for it.
This is where she got her plan: http://www.HealthAndDentalOptions.com

It's been wonderful for us and we have save thousands of dollars using it as well.

Open panel: You have the right to choose a dentist of your own liking. The dentist can refuse to treat the patient.

Closed panel: Under this option you can choose only the dentist who is under the contract with the insurance company. You can only choose the dentist who has a contract with the insurance company.
