Condolence / Sympathy letter to a client?

We Answered:

Get a card and at the bottom something personal like I am sorry for your great loss and I am sure it is a void that can never be filled but with God's help and comfront it will make it a bit eaiser, and if you need to talk I am here for you,,,sign your name .

Are you legally covered by insurance, if the policy is in your spouses name and it is for full coverage?

We Answered:

If you have full coverage then anyone who is driving your car is covered. In other words your car is covered not you. The good news is that your insurance should not be effected by your tickets. The bad news is that you are not covered to drive a rental car unless you purchase the rental companies insurance which is expensive. Nor are you covered to drive any car unless the owner of that car has full coverage. I would suggest that you put your name on the insurance policy if your driving record is clear in your state or not drive other peoples cars.

With all that said you have proof that the car is covered send it to them. Also know that your insurance co will probably be notified of the tickets.

Charlotte Said:

If an automobile accident is my fault, can I still present a claim against the other person's insurance?

We Answered:

There is no reason for the other policy to pay for repairs after an accident that is your fault. You probably received a form letter. I would read it again carefully, because it doesn't sound like an agreement to pay, just letting you know they are looking at the circumstances.

Complaint against Insurance agent?

We Answered:

If I were you I'd spend some time on that Dr that didn't properly refer you out - instead of blaming the insurance agent for a Dr's mistake.
The Dr can correct that mistake and then have the hospital re-submit the claim for payment

This was simple advice & I agree you should've gotten this advice from YOUR insurance agent...but the complaint letter was kind of rude

You were told the problem was the Dr - and you took NO action towards him at all?...that was your mistake in my opinion - an agent shouldn't have to hold your hand thru these things unless you are UNable to do them yourself....which your phone calls & letter-writing proves is NOT true - you were able bodied enough to do that!

Conolense / Sympathy letter to a client?

We Answered:

A condolence letter is appropriate when someone you know has lost a friend or relative. Fire losses, while sad, are not addressed in a condolence letter.

If an insurance agent can cover up only half of the loss, it means he can only hide half of it. I believe you meant to write that his insurer (not its agent) can cover only half of the loss.

This being said, if you feel in any way beholden to or personally close to this client, you might express how saddened you were to hear of his property loss and, if appropriate, offer help in some way (financial, logistical, informational). It would be appropriate to offer encouragement for the future if there is, indeed, a reasonable expectation for your client's future.

Alvin Said:

can I take an insurance company and agent to small claims court?

We Answered:

It depends where you live. In America for instance a woman sued Mc Donald because she drove off with a cup of tea in her lap, she burned herself you see.
The judge then awarded her a cool milllion.
They even have windscreen sun shades with disclaimers that says "remove before driving" so as to cover themselves from people driving off without removing them and then suing.

So considering all this, there's nothing you can't sue for, it all depends on what judge you get.

Car insurance claim agent refuses to pay with bodily injuries on the record?

We Answered:

Screw em all, Hire a lawyer!!!!!! It is in fact the insurance reps job to scare & intimidate you into accepting as little as possible. as for you cooperating, you dont have to, infact you SHOULDNT! you would be cooperating with a someone whose interest is NOT being fair. The best thing you can do is call a lawyer NOW, and dont agree to anything until you do.

EDIT: you can take them to small claims court without a lawyer, but there is a $5000 max. if your med bills are more than that, small claims wont cover it.

Discuss It!
