Cinergy is not a major medical plan; it is a defined benefits plan. They will pay up to the $ amount listed in the policy for a procedure and you pay the rest. For example, on their better plan they'll pay up to $1000 per day if you are in the hospital. The average charge in the hospital is $3000 per day so you'll pay the other $2000. There is no maximum you'll pay so if you're in the hospital for 10 days you'll pay an average of $20,000. The premium is $241 per month.

As a comparison, in my area you could get a major medical $2500 deductible HSA plan with 0% co-insurance for around $225 per month. The maximum you'd pay in a year is $2500 even if you were in the hospital for a month. The only advantage the Cinergy plan has is if you are uninsurable for a major medical plan.

Visit a local agent that works with all the major plans in your area. The agent can compare the major medical plans to the Cinergy plan and explain the pros and cons of each based on your particular situation. There is no extra charge using an agent.

They use Equifax. Most of the time, but not always, it's an instant decision.

If your scores are bad, below 600, or if you have fairly recent baddies, you might go through the dental office when applying. Many times having the medical provider apply for you will get you approved.

If your scores are above 600 and if your baddies are old, if you have any, you might just apply online.

If you know how much the dentist is going to charge, for instance they claim it will cost $1000.00, you might ask for $2000 or so.

While they are fairly easy with approvals, they really stink at giving people increases.

If the dentist is going to be fairly high, you will probably be given a 0% promo for X number of months.

If you are given the promo, CareCredit may tell you your payments would be (for example) $10/month. If so, pay $30 or more a month. Be sure to have the promo paid off at least one month early.

No insurance hmmm? Some seem to think that if you have insurance you're "protected". Many of those in New Orleans *did* have insurance. You know, if you have a mortgage on your home, the mortgage co. or bank requires you to have insurance. HOWEVER, homeowner's insurance DOES NOT cover flood damage. Better READ YOUR POLICY if you're expecting a payout after a floodout. Even some homeowners who did have flood insurance got the shaft. NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program and Homeowner's Insurance Cos. wanted to bat the responsibility back and forth like a volleyball. Matter of fact, I think that game is still going on for a few folks in south Louisiana and south Miss.

Wow, you are in a dilemma, especially being pregnant, which severely limits any medications that can pass into the placenta. Pregnancy is contraindicated in so many psychotropic medications that it isn't funny. The daily issue with the panic attacks is a very serious issue, not only for you but your baby. Ongoing panic attacks are treated as a psychiatric emergency, therefore you should go to the e.d. and not leave until you are satisfied that they have done everything they can, including admitting you if need be. I know that when you feel that you're going insane, that is exactly the truth, I know I have suffered with this malady for to long already. And I have even worked with the NIH on case studies, one in which I started. So you go to the hospital and you demand that they help you, do not stand for anything else. If they deny you tx.,please inform me via e-mail. It will be ok I assure you.

Bummer! As far as your OB not taking medicaid is there anyway you can work out a payment plan with her, if you are set in keeping her as a provider. Call your local DHS and talk about your assets with them for the CHIP program. I know here in IL. you cannot be denied medical insurance while pregnant and there is a program here that kids always have medical insurance from the day they are born. Best of luck to you. ((hug))

Put pillows under your bum. This will tilt your pelvis. Once the "troopers" have been released to hunt out the egg continue to lay propped up with your pelvis tilted for about 1/2 hour. Being in this position, gravity helps them. I've had 2 friends get pregnant after trying this method. My gyn suggested it for me when we were trying for our son.
Make sure you guys don't let it get too technical. That tends to happen when we try so hard to conceive. You will resent each other or one will feel like a failure. Remember our frame of mind is key to successful sex. Good Luck. It's a girl.
