Dental insurance companies don't usually cover any of the fee for implants, but they do cover some of the cost of the crown that's put over/on it.

Beware if/when you do get dental insurance, some companies have a mandatory waiting period for prosthetic work...

If you're eligible, AARP has a decent plan with Delta Dental, and the premiums are decent.
