Dental Insurance That Covers Dental Implants

Alexander Said:

Insurance for Dental Implants?

We Answered:

Not sure of Canada, but some insurers in the US will pay for the implants if it's the result of root decay/disease or trauma to your mouth and teeth.

I was missing 2 teeth congenitally and had to have implants for those, and I paid the full cost out of pocket (OUCH!). I'd never had wisdom teeth pulled, never even had a cavity, and I still had to pony up all of the money for everything from X-rays to the crowns at the end of the procedure. Insane.

i am looking for dental insurance or a discount plan that can help me get tooth implants!!?

We Answered:

I'm not familiar with what's offered in your area, but you're right, it's tricky to navigate. Most insurers' web sites have convenient side-by-side plan comparisons. Or, you may want to use an agent to help you make the right choice.

Questions to ask:
Are you restricted as to which dentists you can use?
What is the waiting period for major work?
Monthly premium / deductible / co-insurance

Good luck!

Tiffany Said:

are their any dental insurance co. that cover dental implants in houston, tx?

We Answered:

May I suggest to you Ameri Plan's discount benefits program. They do not have any restrictions on ongoing conditions and you can start saving immediately. The plan includes significant savings on dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic care. I'd check them out. I'm so proud to be with them. I know I shouldn't advertise, but your need sounds great. Let me know if you have any questions. wlakin@ameriplan.net

They are headquartered in Plano, TX and have been in business for 14 years. They are currently offering (just for May) $1 per month for 3 months...basically a 90-day trial. :)

Dental Implants & Insurance ?

We Answered:

Sorry to hear about your accident. That's tough.

You may be able to get the crowns that go over the implant fixtures in your jaw covered by Delta Dental but not the implant fixtures themselves. The implant fixtures probably cost around $2500-3500 each, so keep that figure in mind if you decide to hire an attorney to handle your case.
