As for lifetime pet insurance... I think that's only available in the UK. I pay about $52.73 a month for VPI Pet Insurance through Nationwide.

How old are the dogs? Most pet insurance companies will cover a pet for life as long as they are enrolled before a certain age....usually that is 7 or 8. Almost all of them have a multi-pet discount. You are going to be out of luck for the pre-exisiting conditions. None of the insurance companies that I looked at will cover pre-existing. The most common pet insurance is VPI. Some other good ones are SPCA pet insurance, Pets Best, and Embrace. All insurance companies have an add-on option for routine care such as exams and vaccines. You will pay around $10 extra for that per month.
