By the way, in case you are wondering, you won't pay more by going through an agent as there are laws against that -- so you don't have to worry about it being more expensive by using an agent (I checked this out when I first got in contact with them).

You cannot use an FSA for insurance premiums.

It *is* worth it, actually. If you are in the lowest tax bracket, for ever dollar you put into your FSA, you'll increase your take-home pay by at least 25 cents because the money you put into the FSA won't be subject to any payroll taxes, meaning less money gets withheld and more money goes into your pocket. If you are in a higher tax bracket, or you live in a state or locality where there's additional payroll taxes, you can save even more.
