We could leave the system as it is and take the left over TARP money and insure the entire UNINSURED. This would cause less stress and money but it is not about this, it is about control.


I was a R.N. for 32 years and there is a crisis brought on by the Government regulation. If not for the government cost fixing the price of the MD and Hospitals and causing them to lose money on the government paid patients there would not be the constant escalation of the cost of visits. The loss of the government payment patient is made up by the doctor and the hospital by the insured patient making up the difference.

The GOVERNMENT HAS CAUSED THE CRISIS AND THEIR ACTIONS WILL NOT FIX IT.

Nature balances her books: you're taking stimulants throughout the day and when they wear off, you crash. At night your body is continuing to detox from the stimulants and you're probably getting very little real rest even if you are sleeping.

You're going to have to break the habit of coffee and other people's meds, and stay off of all of them for a while, before your body can adjust. Adding more stimulants will only make you crash harder and sleep more poorly.

For what it's worth: ritalin, and most of the other ADHD meds, are controlled substances. Your friends could, conceivably, be terminated from their treatment for giving such meds away. You have a small risk of facing prosecution as well. If your work ever does random drug testing on you, you could be in jeopardy there as well.

Haven't found another company yet that offers life time cover
Most companies are cheep because they only pay out limited amount in vets fees each year and then will normally exclude that problem from furture policies.
Have never had a problem with pet plan, they have always paid promptly and it is real peace of mind to know everything is covered, especially in todays current money climate!

I can already see that you have deduced that this is an incredibly complex problem. The mistake often made here is that more medical procedures equals better health. In America, that might be marginally true, and I agree that obesity is the #1 health problem in the US. I am not in favor of throwing more money at a problem so large and so pervasive that few really understand its true nature. I AM in favor of a detailed and lengthy analysis of just what we are doing wrong, or badly, that other economies aren't doing.

Meanwhile, we must allow access to medical care for those who need it, and at a cost/price that is affordable to them. One of these problems is the preexisting-conditions clause of private insurance. No matter how much money I make, I can't get private insurance because I have 4 preexisting conditions. For Americans in the same boat as I, there needs to be serious reform and control of the oligopoly of the insurance industry, and I believe that this move should come first.

anouther way of saying we dont want to insure you !
You could try getting an old fiesta or something but at
the end of the day they assume your going to wrap it
round a lampost,stuff it into a tree or end up on
top of a traffic island with no undercarriage left
on it. Thats what happens in this town with young
drivers ,around two a week at present ! But thats
only the lads girls do it much better,the last one drove
her mates Fiesta in front of a train ! luckily she wasnt
in it when the train smashed it to bits,the insurance
refused to pay out ,network rail are looking for
someone to sue,and her excuse, her sat nav told her
to do it !!! Young drivers would you insure one ?
